Space is in the Place: NASA Tour from 10:00 am-12:30pm

NASA Space Center Houston is about 25 miles south of downtown. Take a guided tour of the Space Center, experience weightlessness and there are many nifty interactive exhibits. It gives you an insight in the historic events related to space. This is one of the main attractions of Houston.  Worth a visit and activities galore!

Treat yourself with some Authentic Mexican Cuisine: Hugo’s 12:30 am - 1:30 pm

Head to the Museum of Fine Arts , the crown jewel of Texas museums. This museum spans multiple buildings which are connected through an underground tunnel. The collection on display varies from time to time, if you space your visits out, you will see something new each time.

After admiring the fine arts, head to Menil Collection which is just 1.6 miles away from the Museum of Fine Arts. The Menil Collection has one of the world’s finest collections. The museum has serene settings with vast collection of work of art ranging from Henri Matisse to Pablo Picasso to Rene Magritte. In other wing of the museum, you will find works from medieval world and Byzantine Empire. Eclectic collection of visual arts!

Go Shopping and Splurge: 5:00pm-7:00pm

Go to Highland Village which is 3.2 miles from Menil Collection museum. This shopping center is spread has well known retailers, some of the fine restaurants and exclusive specialty stores.

You can also go to Galleria which is 1.6 miles away from Highland Village, Houston. Galleria is Houston’s premier shopping mall. This shopping place has diverse assortment of shops from luxury brands to everyday clothing and in all price range from expensive to reasonable.

Head over to watch some game- 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Houston is fanatical with sports and the Astros (baseball), Texans (football) and Rockets (basketball), all have humongous fan following. If you’re in Houston during summer, do go for a baseball game to experience some spellbinding moments.

11:00 pm: Ready to let loose, hit the “in” spot- the Pete's Dueling Piano Bar

Grab a drink and tap your feet to some awesome music at Pete's Dueling Piano Bar. It is a great place for belting out some old familiar songs.
